What Is Equine Assisted Therapy?

Equine Assisted Therapy is a gentle, experiential approach to personal growth and emotional wellbeing. Rather than relying on conversation alone, it invites you to interact with horses from the ground, allowing insight and change to emerge through the experience itself.

Horses are highly perceptive animals. They live in the present moment and are remarkably sensitive to our body language, emotions, and intentions. They often notice when what we feel on the inside does not match what we communicate on the outside, responding with honesty, clarity, and no judgement.

This immediate feedback can reveal patterns that are difficult to recognise through words alone. In the presence of a horse, you may begin to understand more about how you communicate, build trust, set boundaries, relate to others, and respond to the world around you.

With Loredana’s gentle guidance, the experience can support greater self-awareness, confidence, authenticity, and emotional resilience. It creates space to listen to yourself more deeply, recognise what you need, and discover new ways of moving forward.

Everything takes place at your own pace. There is no riding involved, and no previous knowledge or experience with horses is required. You simply need a willingness to be present, an open mind, and an open heart.
